Military Honors and interment for Ronald Krueger, will be held at 3 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Tracy, MN on July 12, 2019 with life remembrance at 5 p.m. at The Caboose in Tracy.
Ronald Paul Krueger was born in Tracy, MN to Royal and Vernette (Marcotte) Krueger on July 13, 1936. Ronald resided in Tracy then Iona for a brief period and then spent his childhood and teen years on the Krueger farm west of Tracy. He also thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the family cabin on l]Lake Shetek.
Ronald graduated from Tracy High School in 1954. He joined the Tracy 135th Infantry Army National Guard Unit in Tracy that same year and served in that unit until 1977. He joined the Arizona Army National Guard in 1979 and served until retirement in 1996. He served in the military through 2 wars and one conflict.
Ronald attended Coop Management schools in 1968 and managed Coops in Wisconsin and Iowa. He returned to the Krueger farm until moving to Arizona in 1979.
He was married to Sharon Billiet in April of 1964 and to that union was born a daughter Roxanne. He later married Janet Warren on February 14, 1980 and became a widower in March of 2005. He was most proud of his daughter Roxanne and granddaughter Amber and great-grandchildren Paeyten and Axel. He especially enjoyed gardening but mostly enjoyed a good beer and visiting with friends.
He entered eternity on December 21, 2018 in Chino Valley, AZ surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his daughter Roxanne Bame (Jeff), his granddaughter Amber, his great-grandchildren Paetyn and Axel; stepsons Terry Warren (Tina), Calvin Bunker (Teri), John Bunker. There are three step grandchildren Calvin, Tracy and Maggie and six step great-grandchildren Ariana, CJ, Rilee, Jacob and Billy, his brother Richard Krueger (Ann), brother Roger, brother Robert (Alida), sister Rosemary Martin (Michael) and brother Rodney Krueger (Virginia); many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Emil and Grace (Smith) Krueger and Anthony and Jeannette (Corval) Marcotte and parents Royal and Vernette (Marcotte) Krueger, brother Rollie and nephew Anthony.
