Saturday was a big day in Garvin, as Santa Claus took time out of his very busy December schedule to visit area kids. Thanks to the Garvin Business Club, every child who attended Saturday’s event received a goodie bag. The annual event is a longtime staple in Garvin, but because of COVID-19 it couldn’t be held indoors. “They started with doing it by the elevator, then they did it down in the Legion, then it graduated to the fire hall and back to the restaurant,” said organizer Jan Bornitz.
