A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board
9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Crowley, Graupmann, Sanow and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and County Attorney Maes.
MSP to approve the agenda.
MSP to approve the consent agenda.
MSP to approve the 3 year contract extension with the City of Cottonwood for Law Enforcement services.
MSP to allow Jail Administrator Marks to sign the OJP COVID Emergency Supplemental Funding grant.
MSP to approve the resolution granting United Community Action permission to continue to operate the Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program for the next 2 years.
MSP to table the discussion until the end of the Board meeting after Auditor/Treasurer gets in touch with Murray County. Motion carried with Commissioners Crowley, Graupmann, Ritter and Sanow voting in favor. Commissioner Anderson abstained from voting.
MSP to approve the JPA with Murray County as presented for financing on a joint ditch project. Motion carried with Commissioners Crowley, Graupmann, Ritter and Sanow voting in favor. Commissioner Anderson abstained from voting.
MSP to approve Ehlers to provide advisory services relating to the County’s use of the American Rescue Plan Act monies awarded.
MSP to table the UPS battery replacement discussion. Motion carried with Commissioners Crowley, Graupmann, Anderson and Ritter voting in favor. Commissioner Sanow voted against.
MSP to adjourn at 10:40 a.m.
