Keith Hansen, 39

Keith Hansen, age 39, of Tyler, Minnesota, formerly of Tracy, Minnesota passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his home in Tyler.  Memorial visitation was held on Sunday, July 31, 2022. at the Hartquist Funeral Home – Tyler Chapel.  A graveside service was held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Willow Lake Lutheran Cemetery in rural Currie, Minnesota (7 miles south of Tracy, Minnesota).

Keith Douglas Hansen was born on May 9, 1983 to Douglas and Elizabeth (Haugen) Hansen in Slayton, Minnesota. Keith was baptized at Willow Lake Lutheran Church on August 14, 1983. Keith grew up loving to fish and hunt with his Grandpa Haugen and his Dad. He also enjoyed going to the pool in Tracy, Minnesota every day as a kid. He attended Tracy High School and then later graduated from high school in Worthington, Minnesota in 2001.  While in school he also participated in wrestling. On May 10, 2003, Keith married Kelli Harsma. They were later divorced but remained close over the years.  Keith sold cars in Worthington for a number of years and also worked a number of jobs in the restaurant industry. Over the years he has owned homes in Worthington, Avoca, and Tyler, Minnesota.  Keith passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his home in Tyler at the age of 39.

Keith enjoyed fishing with his kids, cooking for his family, watching movies and recently took up reading. Keith was known for his generosity and kindness with a good sense of humor. He also had a huge love for animals.

Keith is survived by his children, Jaycee Lynn Hansen of Marshall, Minnesota, Ashton Ray Hansen and Jayden Keith Hansen both of Tracy, Minnesota, Ethan Hunter Hansen of Marshall; three siblings, Erica Lynn (Mike) Heidelberger of Brewster, Minnesota, Dillon Matthew (Nicole) Hansen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mattie Mae Hansen, who is active in the military; his parents, Douglas Ray (Judy) Hansen of Mount Vernon, Iowa, Elizabeth Ann (Mike) Haugen-McDonald of Westbrook, Minnesota; grandmother, LaVerne Jessen; significant other, Angela Larson; and multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Ardis Haugen, Ray Hansen and Al Jessen.
