If you think entertaining hundreds of people on stage as an adult solo musician is tough, try doing it on a train as a child, while  still feeling your way around a complicated instrument.

That’s the spot Samson Obel found himself in as an 13-year-old in Philadelphia. But that experience speaks more of his love and passion for the cello than it does his lack of practice space at the time.
