The aroma of suntan lotion wafted over the crystal clear water of the Tracy Aquatic Center, as a line of anxious kids grew outside. At 1 p.m., the doors to the pool opened, as if to say, “Come on in, summer is finally here!”
The pool was filled with kids and adults all day long as the temperature slowly crept into the 80s under partly cloudy skies.
At this time of year, the chances of random rainfall are always present, but the kids at the pool didn’t give that a second thought, as they hit the big slides and diving board for some summer fun.
