Rita Ann Einarson, 60
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita
Ann Einarson, 60, was celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s
Catholic Church in Brandon, VT. The Rev. Albert «Skip» Baltz, pastor, was the
celebrant. The graveside committal service and burial followed in Pine Hill
Cemetery.
Rita Ann Einarson died Saturday, May
5, 2012, at her home in Brandon.
Mrs. Einarson was born in Tracy, MN
on March 30, 1952. She was the daughter of Edward and Arlis (Jackels) Ourada.
She grew up in Walnut Grove, where she received her early education and
graduated from Walnut Grove High School, class of 1970. She later moved to
Grafton, North Dakota where she worked as a L.N.A. at St. Joseph’s Hospital for
several years. She moved to Manchester, N.H. in 1984 and continued working as
an L.N.A. She came to Sudbury in 1989 moving from Manchester and continued
working as an L.N.A. and later did private duty nursing. She and her husband
owned and operated Broken Arrow Kennel in Sudbury. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing
and gardening.
Surviving is her husband Mitch
Einarson of Sudbury; whom she married in Grafton, N.D., on Oct. 8, 1983, two
daughters; Karen Scott of Rutland and Angie Gaudry of Adams, Tenn., her mother
Arlis Ourada of Walnut Grove, MN; six sisters; Eileen Olson of Aurora, Colo.,
Teresa VanDeWiele of Garvin, MN, Linda Burns of St. Paul, MN, Deanna McNamee of
Colorado Springs, Colo., Sandy Cooreman of Tracy, MN, and Betsy Snyder of
Milroy, MN; two brothers; Duane Ourada of Tracy, and Larry Ourada of Colorado
Springs; three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father
Edward Ourada in June 2011.

John F. Jacobs (Jake)
Our loving father “Papa Jake”
passed away October 10, 2011 at home with his family in McHenry, IL. A
memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday May 26, 2012 at 5pm at Immaculate
Heart of Mary Parish in Currie, Minnesota. Burial will be May 26, 2012 at
1pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery in Currie, MN. There will be a
reception following the Mass. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of
flowers, donations can be made to Magnificat Catholic Ministry McHenry Chapter
C/O Lorraine Medford 3850 Ravenglass Ridge Rd. Crystal Lake, IL. 60012, in
Jake’s name.
Jake was born on September 10,
1923 to parents Frank J. Jacobs of Tracy, MN and Louise Gervais of Currie, MN.
After 18 years on the family farm, he graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary
High School in 1942. He entered the U.S. Navy shortly after. Under
the Navy’s V-12 training program, he earned his degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Marquette University and was commissioned as an officer.
Upon discharge, he entered the Dominican order in River Forest, IL. He
completed his studies and was ordained a Catholic priest in Dubuque, IA.
He spent 23 years serving the educational and religious communities in various
leadership and mentoring roles, including Principal at Fenwick High School in
Oak Park, IL.
Shortly after leaving the
order, he married Audree Catalano in 1969, who survives him along with his
three children, Gina (Steve) Rooney, Maria (Joseph) Novotny and Mary Frances
(Patrick) Anelli. He had an incredible love for his eight
grandchildren: Ryann, Erin, Maria, and Sarah Rooney and Madeline, Katie,
Jonathan, and Paige Novotny.
His unwavering faith was the
foundation and legacy of his life. He brought abundant joy and wisdom to
all those he touched. He will be missed beyond words, but his love
transcends all.
