Richard Ourada, 67
Richard “Dick” A. Ourada age
67 of Walnut Grove passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in
Rochester after a battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at
10:30 a.m. Wednesday at English Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. Private
family burial will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be

Service - Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
Richard Ourada was born
February 24, 1946 in Tracy, MN to Lad and Mae (Harlan) Ourada. He
attended school in Walnut Grove. Dick enlisted in the US Navy serving as
Military Police and was stationed in Charleston, SC and Europe. Following
his discharge he returned to Walnut Grove.
On October 14, 1967 he was
united in marriage to Vickie Wells in Tracy. Dick worked at the
blacksmith shop with his dad and brother. He later worked at Fagen
Brownlee & Hayes for 27 years, and most recently at Mid State Mechanical as
a supervisor. Dick was a member of the Walnut Grove American
Legion. He enjoyed watching golf, especially Tiger Woods, baseball, especially
the Twins, and cops shows. Dick loved spending time in his backyard,
barbequing, bird watching, gardening, and taking care of his yard. He
also enjoyed bullhead fishing.
Dick is survived by his
children: Rick (Connie) Ourada of Walnut Grove, John (Teresa) Ourada of Walnut
Grove, and Jason (Lisa) Ourada of Wabasso; grandchildren: Jessica, Derick,
Joshua, Jillian, Cora Mae, Evelyn, David, and John Jr.; step grandchildren:
Nicholas Goblirsch, Lacey DeGreeff, Joshua DeGreeff, and Abra Johnson; brother Steve
(Bette) Ourada of Walnut Grove; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his
parents, wife Vickie, granddaughter Emma, and sister Rose Dehn.
Luella Rykhus, 89
Luella B. Rykhus age 89 of
Tracy died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Belgrade Nursing Home in Belgrade,
MN. Services will be 11:00 AM
Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Tracy United Methodist Church in Tracy. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until
the time of service on Friday morning. Interment will be in the Tracy City Cemetery, with a luncheon served in
the church social hall immediately following the burial. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is
handling the arrangements.

Luella Bertha Rykhus was born
March 9, 1924 to Walter and Myrtle (Raymon) Hay on a farm near Flandreau,
SD. She was baptized and confirmed
in the Christian faith and attended country school.
On December 21, 1943 Luella
married Gerald “Pat” Rykhus and they made their home on several farms until
1967 when they moved to a farm in Custer Township, near Garvin, MN. After retiring from farming they raised
vegetables and sold them in Tracy for about six years. In 1997 they moved to Belgrade, MN to
be closer to their son. In 2007
Luella became a resident of the Belgrade Nursing Home.
She enjoyed baking, quilting,
helping her husband on the farm, vegetable gardening, taking time out for a
malted milk shake in Tracy after selling her vegetables, shopping and spending
time with her family.
On Sunday, April 21, 2013
Luella died, surrounded by her loving family, at the Belgrade Nursing Home at
the age of 89.
Luella is survived by one son,
Arnold (Kim) Rykhus of Alexander, ND; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren;
six great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley “Dolly” Hall of Virginia,
MN; nieces, nephews and friends.
Her husband, Gerald “Pat”
Rykhus, her parents, son, Ronald, and one brother, Donald Raymon preceded her
in death.
