William Scott Keller, 68, of Stillwater, MN died suddenly at home Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
Scott was born July 8, 1948, in Tracy, MN to Dr. Paul V. and Marguerite L. Keller. He graduated from Saint Peter (MN) High School in 1966. He attended the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, and went on to the University of Minnesota Law School, graduating in 1976. He worked for several years as an attorney, and prior to retirement he worked for many years for the State of Minnesota Department of Revenue. He enjoyed reading, music, traveling, movies, history, writing, being by the water, and spending time with his daughters, son-in-law, grandpuppy Flanagan, classmates and friends. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and loyal friend, for his humor and his lifelong love of learning.
He is survived by daughter Angela Keller, her husband Rick Campion, daughter Liz Keller, all of Woodbury, MN; brother Richard Keller (Jennifer) of Saint Paul, MN; sister Kathleen Holmquist (David) of Spirit Lake, IA; brother James Keller (Teresa) of Waterville, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
