Tracy’s own Dick Donaldson, will take part in a World WW II History Round Table discussion at the Historic Fort Snelling Visitor Center at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
The event includes a variety of topics; Thursday’s topic is American Airpower in WWII and features Conrad C. Crane, author of “American Airpower Stategy in WWII” and veterans who participated in the air operations. Talks will describe the strategy and personal experiences that contributed to a victory in WWII.
This is the third of a six-part series of presentations covering WWII and related operations.
The event, which is sponsored by the Minnesota Historical Society, includes a Student Outreach Program, which begins at 6 p.m. where people can interact with veterans and historians in an informal discussion.
