Sanford Tracy is hosting its annual community picnic Thursday, May 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the O’Brien Court garage.
Grilled burgers, hot dogs, beans, and chips will be served.
Sanford medical providers will be on-call for a “Teddy Bear Clinic” at 5:30 p.m., for children to bring their favorite stuffed animal or doll for a free check-up.
The Tracy Ambulance Service and Tracy Fire Department will both have equipment on display in connection with the picnic.
Emergency responders will be available to answer questions.
Sanford Tracy is also offering a host of reduced-cost medical screenings.
Heart and vascular screenings can be arranged by calling 1-888-996-4473. Cost is $25 for each test, but advance appointments are necessary.
Reduced-cost mammogram appointments can be arranged by calling 507-629-8405.
Two blood lab tests are being offered: Lipid Panel (cholesterol) and HgA1C (blood sugar). The blood draws are also offered at a reduced cost.

A medallion hunt got under way on Monday, with clues available at Sanford Tracy and Lewis Drug. Clues are also being announced over the KMHL-radio Tracy program.
A $50 prize is offered for the first person to find the medallion, which is located on public property within Tracy city limits.
Donations for the Community Blood Bank, which provides blood products for Sanford Tracy, is planned Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
