Four people have been charged with various crimes stemming from an April 21 home invasion incident in Milroy in which a firearm was discharged, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 7 p.m. on April 21, law enforcement responded to a report of an attempted home invasion in Milroy, and the initial investigation revealed that one of the male suspects fired a weapon, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Two of the suspects are juveniles and will not be identified. The two adult suspects — Mut Gach, 19, and Buomkuoth Diew, 18, both from Worthington, have been charged under warrant complaints.
Both adults have been charged with offenses related to attempt and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and burglary. The adult males are currently in the custody of the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office on unrelated charges.
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate this incident and believes it to be an isolated incident. It does not believe there is an ongoing threat to the area.
