A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board
9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Graupmann, Anderson, Crowley, Sanow and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and Attorney Maes.
MSP to approve the agenda with the addition of Modern Woodman Park Donation.
MSP to approve the consent agenda.
MSP to approve the 5 year Land Records Life Cycle Extension and Schedule D with Fidlar Technologies, Inc. and authorize the Board Chair to sign the extension and Schedule D.
MSP to accept the $618 donation from Modern Woodman for the decking on the new footbridge at Garvin Park and have a thank you note sent.
MSP to approve the low quote from Lozinski Construction Services LLC for $.79 per linear foot for each ditch, CD 69, CD 4 and JD 2 to be cleaned and leveled.
MSP to approve the final payment to Duininck Inc. for SAP 42-611-030 and 42-611-032 for a total of $13,334.12 and allow Board Chair to sign certificate of final payment.
MSP to approve the final payment for SAP 42-610-038 of $5,653.92 to M&K Bridge Construction and Authorize Board Chair to sign certificate of final payment.
MSP to approve the final payment for SAP 42-070-009 of $628.06 to ID Solutions and authorize Board Chair to sign certificate of final payment.
MSP to approve the lease with the State of MN of 335 feet on the third floor of the Government Center.
MSP to approve the Lyon County Tax Abatement Policy as amended.
MSP to approve the hire of Robert Rau as Part Time Van Driver for Veteran’s Services with a starting rate of $14.13 per hour and a start date to be determined.
MSP to authorize County Attorney to send out letters to vacate occupants living in tax forfeited propertied in Lyon County.
MSP to adjourn at 10:20 a.m.

Invitation for Quotes
Sealed quotes will be received for the Tracy Elementary School Lighting Retrofit Project located at Tracy Area Elementary School, 700 South 4th Street, Tracy MN, 56175.
Quotes Shall Be Delivered to: Chad Anderson, TAPS Superintendent, in the TAPS District Office on or before 4:30 PM, July 16, 2018. Project award scheduled for July 16, 2018.
Basis of Quotes: Lump Sum Quotes including labor, materials, and lamp and ballast recycling.
LED Light Proposal Includes:
a) All Hallway Lights.
1. (55 Total 2×4, LED Panel, 40-watt Lights around the perimeter of the Gym) (Must meet or exceed 5,000 Lumens)
2. (51 Total 2×4, LED Panel, G3 LED Flat Panel Fixture/Flex watt + Flex control Lights around the perimeter of the media center) (Must meet or exceed 2,000 Lumens at 20 watts)
b) TAES Gym Lights. (Eighty (80) four foot – 18.5 watt LED bulbs) (Must meet or exceed 2,600 lumens)
c) Kitchen/Dishwashing room/Janitors room/PE storage/Locker room Lights. (One hundred twenty-one (121) four foot – 15 watt LED bulbs) (Must meet or exceed 1,900 lumens)
d) Kitchen Office: Two (2) 2X4 LED Panel, 40 watt Lights.
e) Bathrooms and storage by gym: Fifty-four (54) (4-foot) 12.5 watt lights. (Must meet or exceed 1,700 lumens)
f) TAES Office Lights: (Main Rm 101, Principal Rm 102, Nurse Rm 103, Social Worker Rm 105, Reading Corps Rm 106, Work Rm 107, Tech Rm 108, Speech Rm 109, Book Rm 112). (35 Total 2×4, LED Panel, G3 LED Flat Panel Fixture/Flex watt + Flex control Lights around the perimeter of the media center) (Must meet or exceed 2,000 Lumens 20 watts)
g) TAES Media Center Lights: (Two hundred forty (240) (4 foot) LED 15 watt bulbs) (Must meet or exceed 1,900 lumens)
h) Soffit in Media Center: (Twenty-eight (28) 15 watt bulbs) Must meet or exceed 1,900 lumens)
i) Wall Packs: (Twenty-One (21) 50 watt LED Wall Packs) (replacing
a 175-watt Metal Halide)
j) Parking Lot light by Kitchen: (One (1) 220 watt LED Area Light) (replacing a 400-watt Metal Halide)
k) A19 Bulbs: Ten (10) 9 watt LED Bulbs.
l) Boiler Room: Seventeen (17) 15 watt LED (4 foot) bulbs & two (2) 15 WATT (4 foot) bulbs. (19 Total)
m) Teachers’ Lounge: Eight (8) LED Panel, Flex watt/Flex control lights. (Must meet or exceed 2,000 lumens at 20 watts)
Winning firm will be responsible for all necessary permits.
Envelopes must be marked “TAES LED Light Proposal” and must bear the name of the submitting person or firm on the outside of the envelope. Proposals must include a copy of firm’s liability insurance naming Tracy Area Public Schools as an additional insured.
