6 Panthers earn individual trips to state
Ayden Horner, Dereck Ellingson, Anthony Axford, Jace Paplow,
Trevor Eisfeld and Sam Bauer punched their tickets to the individual
state wrestling tournament at Saturday’s Section 3A tournament in
Windom. These Panthers will join their teammates at the Class A
team state tournament, which is Thursday. The Panthers (29-4) will
battle Section 6A champ Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie (19-3)
at 11 a.m. at the Xcel Energy Center in the team tournament.
