The City Hall doors are locked once again, and the driver’s license station closed, effective this past Tuesday.
The reason for the closure is because of staffing issues. No other explanation was given as to why two of the three regular employees were not in the office Tuesday.
According to an online post, the City on Tuesday became aware that a person who is asymptomatic and has been present in City Hall between June 10-12 tested positive for COVID-19.
The City is asking all customer-facing employees to wear masks and have protective shields between them and members of the public.
The doors to City hall will likely be closed Wednesday as well; it just recently opened up after COVID-19 restrictions by the State were eased.
