A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board
9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Crowley, Sanow, Graupmann and Ritter. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and County Attorney Maes.
MSP to approve the agenda.
MSP to approve the consent agenda.
MSP to approve the reappointment of Mike Carlson and Jay Michelson to another 4 year term on the Red Rock Rural Water Board. Motion carried with Commissioner Crowley, Graupmann, Ritter and Sanow voting in favor. Commissioner Anderson abstained from voting due to a conflict of interest.
MSP to reappoint A. Heidi Fier to another 4 year term as the Lyon County Veteran Services Officer.
MSP to give up to $7,500 for the Lyon County Historical Courthouse located in Lynd for the renovation expenses.
MSP to approve the high bid of $262,825.00 for the purchase of a 2022 CAT 150HJOY motor grader to include the trade of a 2007 motor grader. Also include the extended warranty for a cost of $21,417.00.
MSP to approve the purchase of 2 Dodge Durango patrol vehicles from Police Pursuit Vehicles in Salem Indiana for a total of $39,095.00 per vehicle to include shipping costs. Declare 2 patrol vehicles being replaced as surplus.
MSP to enter into drainage authority at 10:15 a.m.
MSP to grant the petition as presented and request an order to be drafted.
MSP to come out of the drainage authority at 10:52 a.m.
MSP to approve the hire of Christian Olzog-Linville as IT Specialist with a start date of November 2.
MSP to approve the hire of Lori Matthys as Recorder Assistant Tech II with a starting rate of $21.00 and start date of November 2.
MSP to enter into the Drainage Authority at 1:00 p.m.
MSP to levy a 15% increase on County Ditch 3 & 44 LAT A.
MSP to reaffirm the 2020 levy amount of $26,500 on County Ditch 9.
MSP to levy a 1% increase on County Ditch 12
MSP to levy a 13% increase on County Ditch 18.
MSP to levy a 10% increase on County Ditch 20.
MSP to levy a $4,000 increase on County Ditch 21.
MSP to levy a $4,000 increase on County Ditch 24.
MSP to levy a 20% increase on County Ditch 27.
MSP to levy a $4,000 increase on County Ditch 33.
MSP to levy a 20% increase on County Ditch 41.

MSP to levy a 10% increase on Judicial Ditch 31 R&L.
MSP to levy a 20% increase on Judicial Ditch 37 R&L.
