Warren married his high school sweetheart, Betty Jo Visker at the Church of Christ in Tracy Minnesota on February 16, 1968. Betty Jo was his heart for 57 years and married 54 of those years. Their union was blessed with three amazing children (just ask them) Laura Paige, Weston Jay, and Mary Lynn, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
After graduating from Tracy High School, Warren went to Dunwoody Institute of Drafting and then furthered his education at the Minnesota School of Business. Warren served honorably in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 as a communication specialist. He served 14 months in the Vietnam War.
With a degree in accounting, he soon realized that sitting behind a desk was not for him. Warren had several different career paths in sales and management. After retirement, Warren bought a motorhome. He and Betty Jo traveled and camped with family and friends. They also enjoyed spending summers at their home on Lake Shetek (on the golden pond) with their Minnesota family and friends. Warren enjoyed a cruise on the Panama Canal with family just a few weeks prior to his hospitalization.
Warren was an avid collector and skilled craftsman. He loved working in his garage organizing tools and making keepsakes for his family and friends.
