Kathleen (Kathy) M. Quade passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at Sanford in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Kathy was born December 30, 1957, to James and Julieanne (Girard) Wyffels in Tracy, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the Church of Saint Mary in Tracy, MN.
After graduating from Tracy High School Kathy attended the Minnesota West Vocational School in Granite Falls, then returning to Tracy to become the librarian at the Tracy High School.
She was united into marriage to Charles Pamp on January 2, 1988. Kathy also helped on the farm with field work and raising pigs with her husband. Charlie passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2005.
After Charles’ passing, Kathy took a position as assistant manager at the Tracy Municipal Liquor Store for a number of years.
Kathy was a member of the Tracy Eagles, Tracy American Legion Auxiliary, Tracy American Legion Color Guard and the Pelican Pontoon Pussycats Club of Lake Shetek. She also helped at the Breezy Point “Peanut” Bar for a number of years at Lake Shetek.
Kathy found times to be on a bowling team early on, then found her true past time, pool. She was on numerous teams in both women’s and men’s leagues stretching from Lamberton, Tracy to Marshall, MN.
Kathy was united into marriage to Roger Quade on February 29, 2012, where the couple resided on a farm just west of Jeffers. Here she also helped with some of the farm work.
Kathy was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Pamp; her parents, Julieanne and James Wyffels.
Survivors include husband, Roger Quade, brother, Steve (Gayle) Wyffels of Savage, MN, sister, Peggy Wyffels of Pattsmouth, NE, stepsons, Jason Pamp of Tracy, MN, Carl Pamp of Redwood Falls, MN; stepdaughters; Cheri Nielsen of Redwood Falls, MN, Leanne (Mark) O’Brien of Lino Lakes, MN, Jodi Budge of Webster, WI and a whole herd of cousins scattered from the Tracy/Marshall area and into the Western North Dakota.
