If you’re under the impression that this year’s Prairie Women’s Expo will be more of the same old, same old, you couldn’t be more wrong.
Among the 50 vendors who will fill the Veterans Memorial Center on Saturday will be some new faces selling their wares, and the fashion show will return after a one-year hiatus; that will begin at 1 p.m.
“A lot of people asked for it,” said one of the event’s four organizers, Casey Schmidt. “A lot of people enjoy it, and it does keep people there a little longer — mulling around and eating, and then they hang out for the fashion show.”
