Many 4-Hers were able to display their hard work at the Lyon County Fair last week.
No matter the species, showing an animal takes plenty of patience, knowledge and dedication. The 4-H program emphasizes how to “learn by doing,” and Calie and Jada Johns said they’ve both learned plenty this year.
The Johns have both showed beef ever since they can remember and said their timeline starts all the way back in November for county fair.
