The Tracy City Council on Monday resumed talks concerning the beautification of downtown Tracy.
A number of old and new ideas were discussed, involving aesthetic improvements along 3rd St. as another way to satisfy the council’s wishes of beautifying the city — a priority it set years ago.
Talks included the possibility of adding a number of different features to the downtown area, including bollards, banners and benches.
Council member Seth Schmidt initiated the downtown beautification discussion, asking if any research had been done of late.
