EDA looks to dispatch private contractor to fight Old Man Winter

It’s coming — snow.

And more importantly for residents of Orchard Lane, is who will move the snow when it does fall and ferociously blows around doors, driveways and sidewalks?

There is currently $11,000 allocated for the City to take care of snow removal at the EDA-owned housing complex after it took over the sometimes-herculean task of moving snow last year from private workers. The question in front of the Tracy EDA last week was, should it contract the job out for this winter (after Dec. 31).
