Murals are something that have been excluded from Tracy’s landscape, but that’s about to change in an eye-grabbing way.
Discussion at the Oct. 9 Tracy City Council meeting involved two proposed art ventures — one that would begin on the highway, the other inside the Tracy Public Library.
Tracy librarian and resident grant writer Val Quist presented to the council the idea of local artist SammyJo Miller creating a 4 foot-by-48 foot fine art installation in the library that celebrates Tracy’s history.
