eterans from all walks of life have made a variety of sacrifices to serve their country, from long separations from their families, missing the births of their children, freezing in sub-zero temperatures and roasting in far away deserts, losing limbs and far too often, losing their lives.
Those were the words of Dean Knutson, the Minnesota American Legion Chaplain for former District 7 Commander, as he spoke at Saturday’s Balaton American Legion Veterans’ Day program.
