They both either have been or will be the featured hands-on learning subject of 4H Clover Connections. The program has been in place for a couple years in Redwood County, and is now expanding to Walnut Grove, which lies in the most-western portion of the county.
“We are working with a large enrollment of new-to-4H members, so this program is working to reach out to new families so they have an opportunity to learn about the program, have some guidance, someone available to answer questions,” said Stacy Johnson, Extension educator and youth development coordinator for Redwood County. “Walnut Grove is kind of on the opposite end of the county so we thought it would be a good place to get into.”
