In today’s world of high school athletics, the heart and soul of any program is the weight room. Nobody appreciates that more than Alex Greenway.
“The weight room is the common vein that everybody uses, and then they branch off to play their sports,” Greenway says. “We want everyone lifting all year and having a program that’s unified that doesn’t give them a big break helps.”
For his ongoing commitment to improving strength, mobility, stamina and durability among students of almost every age in the Tracy Area School District, the social studies teacher, and assistant track and field and football coach has been named Minnesota’s National High School Strength Coaches Association Mid-America Region Coach of the Year.
