The Easter Bunny made his rounds early Saturday when he scattered 900 pink, yellow, orange, green and blue eggs on the crusty snow at East Bay Park in Balaton, giving colorful life to an otherwise white landscape.
Eggs could be found all over the park well before the 9 a.m. start of the roughly-30-year event, but that wasn’t the only stop the beloved bunny made. An hour later, the Tracy Kiwanis’ Club’s 39th annual Easter Egg Hunt got under way at the elementary school.
Then it was onto Walnut Grove and inside the school there, where the Easter bunny littered the hallways with even more eggs in time for an 11 a.m. start to those festivities.
