Doug Ohman has been around enough to know exactly where to go to get the lay of the land of any small town in Minnesota. And having visited nearly every city in the state over the last few years, that knowledge has come in quite handy.
The Minnesota storyteller, photographer and historian last Thursday shared his vast knowledge of town names with local residents in his “Name that Town” program at the Tracy Public Library, sponsored by the library and Wheels Across the Prairie Heritage Center and was funded, in part, with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota in 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota’s arts and cultural heritage.
