Betty Jane (Forbregd) Peterson, age 77, went home to the Lord on May 11, 2024. She was born in Tyler, MN and raised in Milroy and Tracy. She graduated from Tracy High School in 1964 and went on to attend college in Worthington, before moving to Minneapolis. Here she met and married her husband, Richard Peterson. They moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where their two children were born. In 2000, Betty moved to Seattle to be closer to her grandchildren. She was a fun and loving Grandma to her seven grandkids, who all enjoyed spending time with her. Betty valued her family and friends, and most importantly, her relationship with Jesus. She was always active in church and most recently at New View Church where she helped in any way she was needed.

Betty made beautiful, handmade cards, loved outings with her family and friends, baking, playing games, and listening to many genres of music.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Forbregd, and her husband, Richard Peterson.

She is survived by her son Michael (Jill) Peterson, and their sons, Easton and Cameron; daughter Jennifer(Loren)Ness and their children Sydney, Abigail, Mary, Oliver, and Lucia; sisters Roberta Noyes, Rita Forbregd, and Norine Hanson; nieces Rebecca Marks and Kami Hanson; and nephew Andrew Forbregd.
