Jeff Blegen didn’t let a major surgery and life-altering medical condition keep him away from the links, so his decision to retire from his position as General Clubhouse Manager at the Tracy Country Club surely won’t keep him off the greens, either.
Blegen, who has spent the better part of his life on the golf course, is stepping down as manager of the club after a five-year stint at the end of this golf season.
“I don’t mind anything about this job, everything is good, but it’s hard to find workers, and do scheduling — and I don’t really like that stuff,” Blegen said. “Ordering beer, ordering the food … I’ll help out as much as I can, but I don’t want to be tied down to anything.
