The start of this school year marked the start of a new era for St. Mary’s Elementary.
The school is now partnered with Holy Redeemer in Marshall and shares an administration. Ashley Honetschlager has been the principal at Holy Redeemer for 3 years, and is now the principal of both schools. Justin Condelli, former band teacher at Holy, is now the Dean of Students for both schools. Honetshlager and Condelli evenly split their time between the two schools.
Honetschlager said creating this new position was the best solution to make sure both schools had all they needed.
“Both schools needed an administrator, but I couldn’t do both on my own.” She said. “We decided to hire an extra admin. position for support for staff and students.”
