Lighting up Walnut Grove

There is a lot to like and appreciate about Walnut Grove’s Leo Keith Thorsness Memorial Park.

There’s a large gazebo, tennis and basketball courts, plenty of up-to-date playground equipment, a picnic shelter and Walnut Grove Memorial Park, appropriate on many levels, most notably that the small town is home to Thorsness, a Medal of Honor recipient. Not too shabby for a town of some 750 people.

And this holiday season, the park will offer even more.
