After two-and-a-half years of moving in and out of classrooms, and working in what essentially turned into a construction zone, Tracy Area Public Schools are back to normal. Actually, they’re better than back to normal.

The massive infrastructure project at both the elementary and high schools is, for all intents and purposes, 100% complete. The $25,712,800 project is funded by referendum support and the issuance of General Obligation Facilities Maintenance Bonds, Series 2022A and 2023A. The underground work was estimated to cost about $7.5 million, with the above-the-ceiling work coming in at about $18.5 million.
