Milroy supt.: ‘we will be here’ next year

“We are intending to be here next year, 100%, Supt. John Willey told Milroy Public School staff at the regular board meeting last Tuesday. “We are beginning to explore the process of consolidation.”
After the new Milroy Public School Board members, Vanessa Shoen and Mary Leach, took their oath of office, the board heard concerns and questions from school staff. While a total of nine staff members were in attendance, kindergarten teacher Jennifer Wagner was the spokesperson for the staff.
The biggest concern for the teachers was the future of Milroy Public School next year and what that means for staff.
