katieKiss — This is what happens when your birthday coincides with the St. Mary’s School Winner Warm-Up event. Emcee John Lanoue took a pie in the face from his beloved wife, Katie, as the event culminated. Katie gave John a big kiss on the cheek after “delivering” the pie. John had no idea this surprise was coming and, of course, was a good sport about it.

Dozens of red roses, Cupid shooting his arrows and adults dressed up like candy. Sounds like at least for this year, Valentine’s Day was a two-day holiday in Tracy.

The theme of Saturday’s St. Mary’s Winter Warm-Up at The Caboose was clear, as love was in the air — in this case, the love SMS alumni , school staff and parents of current students have for their school.

Once again, the event, celebrating its third year, was a massive hit, as more than 200 of people filled the banquet hall at The Caboose to raise money for the school.
