Carson Lanoue has been around pigs for a long time, long enough to know that they can have unique personalities — from “super crazy” to “super calm.” The pig he brought to show at this year’s Minnesota State Fair, Jenny, would most certainly fit under the latter.
“My mom wanted to name it that after her good friend, Jenny Towne, because they kind of act the same — they’re very calm, collected, stuff like that.”
“Usually he names his pigs pretty quickly,” Carson’s mom, Katie, said. “Ever since we got the pig, she’s always been just very patient, very in control.”
