It was a celebration that almost didn’t happen.
Knowing temperatures were going to be well below zero Sunday morning, Tracy Area High School choir director Wendy Johnson gave strong consideration to postponing this year’s “Celebration in Song” at Tracy Lutheran Church.
She thought twice about it, however, and about four hours before the music was to begin,she came to the decision that the annual Fine Arts Council of Tracy show had to go on. And those who attended this year’s event were treated to everything from traditional Hmong dances to Irish favorites.
