Tracy Area High School Business Professionals of America members got their just rewards at last Friday’s Region 8 BPA awards ceremony.

“These kids have definitely stepped out of their comfort zones and put in some work time for quality projects,” BPA advisor Stacy Schuh said. “To see the growth in each of them from where we started with the rough drafts to then seeing the final presentations is very exciting. We have had a group that would come into my room during their study hall and my lunch several days a week for the past couple months to prepare themselves for the region contest, now we will take the judges’ feedback and use that to make our presentations higher quality for state. They also scheduled times before and after school to come in and prepare their items as well as practice.”
