Few businesses in Tracy strive to improve and protect Tracy’s future more than Minnwest Bank.
On Monday, the local branch of the bank put its money where its mouth is by donating $60,000 to new playground equipment at Central Park, Tracy’s largest and most-used park.
The donation means the City can purchase all the desired equipment for the park just in time for the City to take advantage of a 50% discount on every piece of equipment through the State’s Healthy Kids Initiative.
“Minnwest believes in giving back to their communities,” said Darcy Carlson of Minnwest. “We want to provide services for our customers, and the people in Tracy and the surrounding communities.”
