One “abysmal” semester into her collegiate career at Moorhead State University, Laura Fagan found herself at a crossroads. She questioned her future and where she wanted to go in her young life.
“My dad mentioned the Air Force being not so bad, as my older brother had been in the Marines, and that was definitely not for me,” said Fagan. “It was more of a decision based on being the next best path for me to take.”
It was the right one and most appropriate one, too, considering her four siblings all took a path that led to the military as well.
“The military for me was an exciting and eye-opening experience,” she said.
