Judith Ann Gordon age 78 of Tracy passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Prairie View Senior Living in Tracy.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18 at Tracy Area Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow in the Willow Lake Cemetery. Lunch will be served at Zion Lutheran Church in Tracy following the committal. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Judith Ann Gordon was born to Sigvart and Agnes (Severson) Gordon on August 29, 1939 near Dovray, Minnesota. Judy grew up near Dovray, Milroy, and south of Tracy. She attended the Tracy public schools. Judy was semi-retired, working at ECCO DAC 3 days a week. She performed different cleaning tasks there and was also in charge of baking for her co-worker’s birthday. Judy was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Tracy, the Eagles and SWCIL. She liked to plant flowers, bake, shop and go on day trips with SouthWest Tours. Judy loved to dance to polka music, especially to her favorite band, The Larry Olsen Polka Band. She never missed a dance when Larry came to town. In 2008 Judy planned and executed a large family reunion for her mother’s side of the family. She was very good at keeping in touch with family and friends through cards, letters and phone calls. Judy loved spending time with her housemates and the employees who helped her at home.
Judith is survived by her sister Lois (Don) Cohoon of Sioux Falls, SD and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Sigvart Gordon, her sisters Dorothy and Doris Gordon, her brothers, Manely, Lowell and Kenneth and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
