Steven Harry Schave, 67, passed away December 31, 2018 at home after a long illness in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
He was born in Tracy, Minnesota to Harry and Marie (Mickie) Schave on September 20, 1951. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peters Lutheran Church and graduated from Balaton High School. He was a wonderful husband, father and brother who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him and knew him.
Survivors include his wife Dar of 25 years, their daughter Jenna and granddaughter Alexandria, his daughter Tiana Risbrudt-Matthews and her mother Alaine. Sister Sandra Swanson and husband Ed of Englewood, Florida, sister-in -law Marlys Schave of Park Rapids, Minnesota and his nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, stepdad Cal Frank and his brother Roger Schave.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be private at a later date with family.
