Robert Paul Jette, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on May 25. Robert was the first of four children born to Florence and Leo Jette on June 19, 1935, in Tracy. He graduated from Tracy High School, and as a 19-year-old, he was called to serve his country as an Army tank driver in the Korean War from 1954-56. He had a lake home on Lake Sarah, and served on the Lac qui Parle County Fair Board. His passions in life were umpiring baseball and refereeing basketball, and he owned a 40-acre hobby farm south of Madison.
