Linda Elizabeth Arndtson, age 73 of Tracy formerly of Lamberton, was welcomed into Heaven by her son, Michael, father, Melvin and two brothers, Tom & Steve on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Prairie View Senior Living in Tracy with her family by her side. A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Tracy Area Funeral Home. Interment was in the Lamberton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Linda was born June 7, 1948 to Melvin and Ruth (Macklanburg) Clarken in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. She graduated from Lamberton High School. Linda lived and worked in the cities before moving back to Lamberton. She worked at various places of employment most recently including Jonti-Craft, Jackpot and Meadowland. Linda shared her life with Big Mike, Leland, and Ken. She was blessed with her children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. You could often find her playing cards and Bingo, while having a smoke and drinking coffee with her friends. Linda loved the trips she took with her sisters to Branson, Okoboji and the family reunions. Day shopping trips and wineries with her daughters and granddaughters were one of her favorite things to do. Some other things she enjoyed were dying Easter eggs, decorating cookies and making crafts with her family. She loved tending to her flower garden, especially in the spring time. Attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities brought her great joy. Linda was a very proud mother and grandmother.
Linda is survived by her mother Ruth Clarken of Lamberton; daughter: Sara (Preuss) (Shawn) Torkelson of Tracy; granddaughters: Alexis Furth, Lauren & Chelsea Torkelson; daughter: Shannon (Arndtson) (Mike) Landkammer of Sleepy Eye; daughter Lisa Rohlik of Vesta; daughter Shelby Arndtson (special friend Mark) of Jeffers; and son Kenny Arndtson Jr. of Jeffers; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings: Diane (Ron) Georges of Le Sueur, Bill (Jane) Clarken of Brainerd, Barb Clarken of Danube, Ann (Larry) Groebner of Springfield, Jim Clarken of Redwood Falls, and Paul Clarken of Lamberton. She is preceded in death by her father, Melvin, son, Michael Furth, and brothers, Thomas and Steve Clarken.
