The first Balaton City Council preliminary budget meeting was held last Wednesday, and the council set the City’s preliminary budget with a proposed 8.56% levy increase for 2025.
The levy can be lowered before the final budget is set but cannot be raised.
Many items from the budget were kept the same, while most City employee salaries were budgeted for a 3% increase.
