Members of Tracy Lutheran Church really like their pie. But one thing they love even more is supporting the church’s youth.
They proved both on Sunday by raising $3,655 at this year’s annual Pie Auction.
All told, 56 pies were sold at an average of $65 apiece; final bids ranged from $30-$220 for the pies, most of which were homemade.
The money raised will be split amongst the families and will be used to help send the kids and chaperons on future mission trips — this summer, they will be heading to Kanas City, MO.
