The Panther golf team competed last Tuesday against RRC and Wabasso in Sanborn, and the boys were in Marshall last Wednesday.
Alex Munson had himself a day, shooting an even par 72 and placing third out of 81 golfers at the Marshall Invite (boys only). He carded three birdies in the process.
“(Alex) was very consistent all day,” coach Michael Munson said. “His driving set up the rest of his game.”
Trenton Johnson shot 106 for 70th place. In Wabasso, Munson took first with a 42 to win by five strokes, and Johnson was fifth with a 51.
Taylor Munson took second with a 46, and Piper Schulte was fourth with a 59.
“Taylor played great golf, having one bad hole that accounted for half of the 10 shots she was over par,” coach Munson said.
TMB’s next match is today (April 24) at Cottonwood.
