Hospice of Murray County wants to talk about the volunteers.
Our Volunteers have various jobs. We have volunteers who serve on our board. Some of these people still work their regular jobs in addition to our Board of Directors’ duties. Thank you!
We have volunteers that help by feeding the birds at the house regularly so our patient can have the enjoyment to watching the birds when their families are not present. Thank you!
We have volunteers who deliver heavier equipment to the patient’s home and pick it up again. Thank you!
We have Volunteers who write cards for us to families and patients. Thank you!
We have volunteers that bake for some of our events to provide refreshments to our program, Thank you!!! We have Volunteers who help with countless hours for our Fundraising events, Thank You!
We have volunteers that hold your loved one’s hand while you are away or visit them so the family can be away for a short time. Thank you!
Why do they do it? They want to be a part of something important, touching the hearts of others!!! They want to make the world a better place! They want to give of their talents. Spread kindness and volunteer!
