While it didn’t last long, this flooded section of Greenwood Avenue was a reminder of what happens when a lot of snow melts in a short period of time. The water had receded by Monday morning. Greenwood was just one of a number of problem areas around town Sunday. Front Street was closed for a time when water overtook a large portion of the street in front of the Tracy Alliance Church, and at the high school, water gushing in through a culvert flooded greenspace directly to the west of the school building. That water flowed under the parking lot driveway and into the area to the north.
