The TMB volleyball team is the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Section 3A, South Sub-Section Tournament.
The Panthers will play host to either Southwest Minnesota Christian (6) or Ellsworth (11) in the sub-section quarterfinals at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. If the Panthers win their first match, they would play at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at a site to be determined.
Windom is No. 1 seed in the South Division, followed by Adrian, TMB, Red Rock Central, Murray County Central, SWMC, Westbrook-Walnut Grove, Hills-Beaver Creek, Heron Lake-Okabena, Fulda, Ellsworth and Edgerton.
Defending Section 3A champion Minneota earned the top seed in the North Division. Wabasso is No. 2, followed by Yellow Medicien East, MACCRAY, Canby, RTR, Lakeview, Central Minnesota Christian, Dawson-Boyd, Renville County West and Lac qui Parle Valley.
Sub-section semi-finals will be played Thursday, Nov. 1, at SMSU, and the Section 3A championship match will be on Saturday, Nov. 3, also at SMSU.
